In 1986 I had surgery on my lower back to remove a ruptured disc and have had back pain since then. In recent years the pain had become worse resulting in my needing to take pain medication everyday, eventually causing stomach pain. After a few visits to Dr. Doran, the pain began to decrease and gradually I began to cut the dosage of the medication. Now there are days I don't take any medication at all.
